In A Cabin With ist keine Band und auch keine Plattenfirma, es ist eine Idee, ein Experiment, ein Musik-Projekt, und zwar ein höchst interessantes. Alle zwei Monate lädt IACW holländische Musiker ein, an einem schönen Ort der Welt mit dort ansässigen einheimischen Musikern eine CD einzuspielen, die dann als Download verschenkt und im Webshop als CD und LP verkauft wird.

Musikvideo: Adobe Flash Player (Version 9 oder höher) wird benötigt um dieses Musikvideo abzuspielen. Die aktuellste Version steht hier zum herunterladen bereit. Außerdem muss JavaScript in Ihrem Browser aktiviert sein.

Every two months In A Cabin With is inviting one or more Dutch musicians to travel to a beautiful spot somewhere in the world to write, produce and record an album in collaboration with local musicians, in 10 to 14 days. This location could be a farmhouse in Sweden, a big wooden house just outside Chiang May Thailand, an appartment in New York or a church in Ottawa Canada. After mastering and finishing the album artwork the records are fully available, as a FREE download, on our website.

Until now the location(s), the inspiration and the isolation of these recording session made it possible to make some fantastic albums. Even though all the music styles differ per album (from jazz, metal to electro) they are all well worth listening to.
